Punjab Scores the Largest Property Deal

Punjab's real estate market is at boom and the latest to add to the growing list is a land deal in Bhatinda. The land deal has been bagged by Delhi-based real estate developer, Best City Infrastructure India Private Ltd (BCIIPL) for Rs 184 crore as against the reserve price of Rs 135 crore. The per square reserved price for the 21,780 square yard plot of land (about 4.5 acres) land was Rs 62,000, which has made it the single largest deal in Punjab till date. A five star hotel-cum-multiplex will developed on the land. Mr. Harcharan Singh Bains, Media Advisor to Punjab CM, says, "Bhatinda will soon emerge as one of Punjab's and North India's major growth centers."
