VGN Developers Launched Township Project in Chennai

The Chennai-based VGN builders & developers has launched a 17-acre residential complex near Ambattur, the industrial belt on the outskirts to the west of Chennai. The project, Platina, a mini township, is aggressively priced with apartments available from Rs 2099 a sq ft and individual houses for Rs 2699 a sq ft. Announcing the project in Chennai on Wednesday, the company’s managing director, Pratish Devadoss, said the project will have over 610 apartments ranging from 650 to 1,200 sq ft and covered car park with apartments priced from Rs 16 lakh onwards.
The apartment range includes one, two and three bedroom units. The 60 individual houses will each be of about 1,400 sq ft on a plot of 750-800 sq ft. In addition, retail space and other amenities, including gym, multipurpose hall and indoor game facility, pharmacy and sewage treatment plant will also be available. The company has specifically targeted the "affordable" niche to offer a high quality product. This would be ideally suited for the market demand of the present day.
VGN Developers Pvt Ltd has been in the business for more than six decades. The company started out as a layout promoter and has evolved into property development. It has completed over 16 million sq ft of real estate development and has over 7 million sq ft of development in the pipeline. Devadoss said that the company continues to adapt to the market conditions and is expanding into the infrastructure space. It has moved into construction and has set up a division that will look at participating in infrastructure projects.
